Biography
Andreas co-founded Bactolife™ in August 2017.
Andreas is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, where he heads the Tropical Pharmacology Lab. This academic group specializes in antibody technologies and synthetic biology with a particular focus on developing therapies and diagnostics against neglected tropical diseases. This includes snakebite envenoming, and infectious diseases. Besides his academic work, Andreas is a co-founder of the companies Biosyntia ApS, Antag Therapeutics ApS, Chromologics ApS, and VenomAid Diagnostics ApS. He has been an advisor for the World Health Organization and is a leading expert on the application of antibody technologies for neglected tropical diseases. Andreas is a Fellow of the Young Academy of Europe and the Young Academy of Denmark.
Andreas supports Bactolife™’s R&D strategy and activities and serves as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board.
