With our first products launching in the United States in 2026, and with planned market entry in Asia and Europe, we are looking for a hands-on and collaborative Head of Marketing to help shape and execute Bactolife’s global marketing activities.

Role overview

The Head of Marketing will work closely with the SVP for Business Development & Marketing to develop and execute marketing strategies across brand, digital, communications, and category building. This role combines strategic thinking with strong operational execution.

The first year (2026) will have a strong emphasis on supporting the launch of Bactolife’s first products into the US dietary supplement market, building awareness of Binding Proteins as a new category, and partnering with the U.S. General Manager to support customer acquisition.

Beyond the U.S. launch, the role will also support market development in Europe and Asia, helping prepare these regions for commercialization and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

  1. Marketing plan & category development
    • Collaborate with the SVP for Business Development & Marketing and brand manager to shape global marketing priorities and plans. The Head of Marketing will also be response for the execution of the marketing plan.
    • The Head of Marketing will own the development and management of the marketing budget.
    • Drive the development of the Binding Proteins category narrative and educational materials.
    • Contribute to market development work in US, Europe and Asia, including customer insights, foundational messaging, and early brand activation.
    • Assist in refining customer segmentation and core value propositions.
  2. U.S. launch execution
    • Develop and implement marketing activities to support the launch of Bactolife’s first U.S. products under the ingredient brand Helm.
    • Build awareness and understanding of the Binding Proteins category through targeted campaigns, content, and educational initiatives including targeted at Healthcare Practitioners and Key Opinion Leaders.
    • Work closely with the U.S. General Manager to provide marketing support for lead generation, customer conversations, conference presence, and commercial tools.
    • Track and report on marketing activities, KPIs, and insights to guide continuous improvement.
  3. Brand activation & communications
    • Develop brand messaging, visual identity, and storytelling across channels.
    • Manage content creation, PR coordination, events, and communication materials that increase brand visibility.
    • Partner with scientific and regulatory teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance of technical messages.
  4. Digital marketing & demand generation
    • Oversee digital channels including website, social media (LinkedIn), and email marketing with support from Marketing Assistant (student assistant).
    • Develop digital campaigns that drive awareness, education, and lead generation in priority markets, including a series of Webinars for KOLs.
    • Use analytics to assess campaign performance and recommend improvements.
  5. Cross-functional collaboration
    • Work with Commercial, Product, R&D, Sales, and Regulatory teams to align marketing with business needs.
    • Coordinate with external agencies and partners to deliver high-quality marketing outputs.
    • Contribute to building marketing capabilities and processes as Bactolife grows.

Qualifications and experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B marketing within biosolutions, health tech, food/ingredients, or other science-based industries.
  • M.Sc/MBA within Marketing, Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
  • Experience supporting product launches, especially in the US market.
  • Strong skills in brand building, digital marketing, content development, and campaign execution.
  • Ability to simplify complex scientific topics into clear, engaging messages.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
